Scope: Working under South32 our director led the project delivery of the annual tailings dam wall raising construction project, including the engineering, construction, and operational interface aspects.

Achievements: Delivered the project on schedule and within budget while enhancing safety measures and reducing operational risks. Drove the review of the 35yr primary services contract, resulting in onboarding of a new contractor delivering significant and sustained CAPEX savings of over 30% year-on-year, continued commitment to local employment, and collaborative demobilization of the incumbent contractor
